How this wiki is organised, what each record’s status label means, and exactly what is covered today — including the parts we are deliberately leaving blank.

Short answer
What is on this wiki?
53 tracked records across playable species, creatures, villager systems, item categories, resources, locations, quest and story systems, core game systems and playstyles — plus guides written against a named build. Anything NEARstudios has not published is shown as an open question rather than filled in.
This wiki deliberately splits tasks from data. A guide answers “what should I do and in what order?” A database page answers “what exists and what is known about it?”. Mixing the two is how wiki pages end up unreadable, so they are kept separate and cross-linked.
Every content page opens the same way, in this order:
Four states. You will see the same badge on database records, guide pages and the searchable database.
Stated directly by NEARstudios or on the official Steam page. Citable.
Seen in a playtest build and reported by the studio, but not final.
Announced as work in progress. Expect it to change before release.
No official statement exists yet. Shown as an open question, never as a fact.

Counts show the state of the fact base, not the size of the game. Categories with high “awaiting official data” counts are the ones the studio has not detailed yet.
Publishing these openly is more useful than pretending the wiki is complete. These are the largest holes, and the reason each one is still empty:
If a fact is wrong, out of date, or missing a source, send a correction with the official page that proves it. Corrections that cite an official source are applied and the page’s review date is bumped. Corrections based on a stream, a forum post or a screenshot are logged as community reports, not facts.
The full rule set — including how conflicts between sources are resolved — is on the editorial policy page.
Status vocabulary reference: confirmed = Confirmed; playtest = Playtest build; in-development = In development; unverified = Needs verification.
